Six Months Old....

Can you believe little Lucas is six months old? I know Jason and I can't believe it. He is growing so quickly and showing us more personality and skills everyday. He had his six month check up and is doing very well developmentally. He is now 27.75" and 17 lbs 12 ozs. "Sooo Big" He also had his six month pictures taken on his exact 6 month birthday. Brigette did a wonderful job as usual. So much so that I am having a really hard time deciding which ones to buy. As soon as I get them I will be sure and hand them out. I will try and post more pictures from home when I get a chance. Aside from the pictures I am going to try to figure out how to get video from our video camera to the blog so you can enjoy some of Lucas' entertaining new "skills". He is always surprising us by finding new ways to be mobile. We are working hard to crawl but until then we have resorted to rolling and/or scooting across the floor. We have also been learning all kinds of new sounds to make with our voice. And Lucas now has one front tooth. Exciting stuff. Well I have to run. I will try and update again soon. Take care. The Tolley Family is thinking SPRING...

Is anyone else sick of this weather. I know I am tired of it at this point. This past weekend was so nice. We actually got out and cleaned up the yard. Lucas was not sure what to do with the breeze and sun on his face. He liked it after a view minutes. The poor child doesn't know what fresh air is yet.

I am really looking forward to continuing yard work. Which is really funny because anyone that knows us knows that we really don't do much in the yard. Well 2009 is a new year. I already torn out...with Jason's help...the ugly over growth of bushes to the left of our front door. That has been bothering me since we moved in the house nearly three years ago.

I feel really hopeful that this year will be a great one. As I work to be a better person and bring meaning and purpose to my life I realize what having a child does to a person. I know I suddenly feel this overwhelming need to make this world a better place.

Lucas is doing great. He will be six months old next week! WOW...where did that half of year go. It has been wonderful. He is working on his first couple teeth right now. They are taking there sweet time coming in for him. He is also sitting up on his own and more talkative then ever. We are rolling over better each day. Really only showing that skill when we feel like it though.

I do hope to update with some pictures very soon. I just have to find time at home to work on the computer.

Holidays - 2008

Well...The holidays are upon us. I guess this wonderful time of year has inspired me to finally work on this blog. I am so thankful for my wonderful family that I thought I should start sharing more of our little life with the world.

Lucas is two and half months old and I can not believe how quickly the time has gone. He is quickly growing up and I already find myself wondering what happened to my little peanut and how did he get so big...Yeah...by the way. He is wearing 6 month sleepers. The little string bean is long. It is really funny because the feet in his newest pjs have grips. Like he might just get up and run away.

Well I am going to try from here on to keep this blog at least reasonably updated with photos and stories of the life al la Tolley...
